i am trying to organise a movie marathon gathering

so all you guys out there who are supportive of the above mentioned ideas, i need you all to comment on this post on 3 things:
1. which period of time during May/June 07 u are free.. (state for both month)
2. what current vcd/ dvd collection you have
3. who is willing to volunteer their place (with a big screen tv) for the movie marathon

this movie marathon will go ahead as long as there are more than 15 confirmed participants...

i will arrange for the logistics... =)

45th Ann

hi Guys n Gals,

2nd June will be our NP 45th Anniversary. May like to make a trip down if you are free.
It's held @ the new campus at Mount Sinai, aka old RJ campus.

Anyway, without knowing it, it has been 5 years since we had our 40th Anniversary, when we slogged through the saturdays and holidays tying gadget and structures, doing sourvenirs, setting up the stages, anything except for sitting down and enjoying the celebration. we have always been doing things for the sake of others. (who are the coordinators by the way?)

And if we start counting from Sec 1, we have known each other for around 8 years plus. So many things had happened in these few years. The occasional fervent spat (an oxymoron?) between the boys and girls squad, results always been the boys remain as silent and lost as possible, the vying of certain perceived more prestigious NCO posts (a delusion of grandeur), and so many events completed in time and toil.

or rather, so many things not happening after we ended our POP with tears and joy, graduated from dunman high, and later after JC after NS and the girls into Uni. Outings become a rare and orchestrated affair, in the sense we have to wait for Xmas or year end for a much-awaited meet up.

i think if we looked back on time, we will have found ourselves childish to do certain things. for that instant, perhaps such behaviours were inevitable, and necessary. Whatever it is, who's not glad that after 8 years, we still have a chance to meet up and chit chat once in a while (having topics to chat abt), set up a squad blog for blabberish and not dissolved into nodding acquaintances.

i'm thankful for every sporadic outings we have.
and for all the stuff we have done together.
